Bully Program

Definition of a Bully:  "A person is bullied when he or she is exposed to reapeatedly and over time, to negative actions on the part of one or more other persons, and he or she has difficulty defending himself or herself."

Camelot Intermediate School is committed to a bully free school.    At Camelot we will use the Olweus Bully Prevention Program.  This program includes classroom meetings to discuss about bully prevention skills.  The staff are trained to step in immediately when they see a bully situation.  Bully behavior will not be tolerated at Camelot Intermediate School.  Consequences will be enforced for any bully activity.  The victims of bully behavior are encouraged to talk to any adult at the school or at home.  At Camelot we are committed and appropriate steps will be taken to assure the safety of the victim and consequences will be enforced for the bully.
