Dear 4th Grade Parents,
All
fourth grade students are required to have their assignments turned in on the
day they are due. If they are late
or forgotten at home, students will be given a “Late Slip” which gives the
student one day to get this assignment turned into the teacher.
Failure to turn in the assignment will result in a pink slip.
When a student has received 3 pink slips, they must serve detention in
order for them to complete the schoolwork.
Detention will be held every Thursday night beginning at 3:25 p.m.
Parents will need to come pick their child up at 4:15 p.m. or call with
other arrangements.
I appreciate your help with this matter.
4th grade is a giant step in teaching responsibility.
I feel that this plan will help the children realize the importance of
completing their work and meeting deadlines.
